Domaine Le Piboul is located in Fontcouverte, a small village in the south of France, located in the Aude department and the Occitanie region (Languedoc-Roussilon). You will find a post office, a cozy village café (renewed in spring 2019 with new owners), a bread collection point and the weekly fruit and vegetable market, pizza on Thursdays. Supermarket chains, pharmacies, doctors, restaurants, cafes, a disco, a cinema, etc. are 4-7 km away. The beaches of the Mediterranean Sea, the rivers and lakes provide the necessary refreshment during the beautiful warm summers. Carcassonne, Narbonne, Béziers (20-30 minutes) and even Toulouse, Montpellier and Perpignan (50-70 minutes) are quickly accessible.
We are located on the border of 2 major wine-growing regions: the Corbières and the Minervois in the Languedoc-Roussilon. If you follow the route '20' (say vin) you will come across a number of wine domains, wine castles, caves where you can taste the wines (for free).
The cuisine is Mediterranean-French/Spanish and the prices are more than correct! A daily menu (3-course) around 14 € including water, wine and coffee.
